Board Members


Bob Bishop, President

Bob Bishop has been in the telecommunications industry for over 50 years having started as a PMG Technician in 1967.

During that period Bob has had 5 successful careers.

  • 10 years with PMG/Telecom, firstly as a Technician, then as a Senior Telecommunications Consultant;
  • 9 years as State Manager of STC (now Alcatel);
  • 7 years as Queensland State Manager of Ericsson Australia
  • 22 years as Founder/Owner/Dealer Principal/CEO of TTGroup Communications incorporating SmartSpeak Solutions. TTGroup was established in 1992.

A recent appointment as Chairman of Azentro, a Voice Vision and Data Company after a merger acquisition with Productiv Pty Ltd, V V Tech Pty Ltd and FleetLink Australia.

Bob was an Army Captain and holds a Marketing Degree from QUT. Azentro holds a Quality Assurance certificate to ISO 9001/2008 standards in Australia. Bob has held past Directorships with the Polo Club and the Balmoral Arts Academy etc.

As a past Chairman of Queensland Government Bayside Health Community Council Bob looked after the Redlands Hospital, Wynnum Hospital, Moreton Bay Nursing Care Unit and the Bay Islands and was a recent Board Member of AIM. Bob has also been the President of the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce in Queensland for 18 years. Bob is a Board Director of the Queensland Cricketers Club.

Bob works for multicultural societies by sitting on the Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Round Table in Brisbane. In association with the Lord Mayor’s Office Bob volunteers mentoring to the Multicultural Society Members. In November 2012 he was appointed Chairman of the Cyber Institute, a Cloud based eLearning Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of AIM Qld & NT.

Bob is a founding Director of Sheldon College which his wife Dr Lyn Bishop founded in 1997.The college has 1600+ students. Bob and Dr Lyn Bishop have three children. Debbie is a primary school teacher and mother of three beautiful grandchildren, Michael owns and manages SmartSpeak Solutions which is a Cloud Solutions Company based in Brisbane. Shelley is a recent graduate from Elmhurst University and Northwestern University in Chicago, after studying Saxophone, and now manages a new Sydney based Production Company Studio 310. 


Allan Godbee, Treasurer

Allan has a passion in helping small to medium size business owners and professionals in the strategic development of their business and personal affairs. With a career spanning 30 years in the professional services industry, Allan is able to assist his clients in business growth planning, risk targeting and management, benchmarking, strategic advice, succession and estate planning, capital investment and funding. 

Allan is a Partner in GFA Strategic Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a member of The Institute of Managers and Leaders, Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Australian Industry Trade College. He also sits on the boards of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southport Chamber of Commerce, along with Gold Coast private school All Saints Anglican School.

A key to Allan's success with his clients and in the professional services sector is his ability to create long term professional relationships, a trait that has helped him develop an extensive contact base within business owners, leaders and professionals in South East Queensland. 


William Ulyate, Industry Ambassador, Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce QLD

William Ulyate has been involved in the defense and cyber security industry for over 17 years.

A trusted advisor to government, military and enterprise organizations he has an in-depth knowledge of international security issues and trends, particularly in the cyber-crime and threat intelligence arena. William has worked in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa and travels to Israel regularly where he has strong contacts in the defense, technology and start-up sectors. Currently working for RIoT Solutions as their National Cyber Security Advisor, William is responsible for helping organizations implement a blueprint for security that aligns with business needs. William is currently Vice President of the Australian Israel Chamber of Commerce (QLD), Vice President of Parkinson’s Queensland, and sits on a number of other boards in the technology and startup sectors.



John Aitken, Industry Ambassador, Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce QLD

John Aitken is Managing Director of Inspiring Cities, specialising in economic development of globally competitive cities; inspiring precincts, destinations, tourism and major events providing placemaking strategies and advice. Since 1980, John founded many of Queensland’s major event traditions including Riverfestival and Riverfire before overseeing the Sydney Royal Easter Show. During his tenure as CEO of Brisbane’s economic development organisation Brisbane Marketing (2008 ~ 2017), some of his team’s achievements included establishing Brisbane Australia’s new world city positioning globally, delivering over $4billion economic outcomes. John is a board member of Tourism Transport Forum (TTF), Brisbane’s Urban Futures Board, Queensland Community Fund Board of Governors, Redlands Economic Development Board, Mackay Priority Development Area Advisory Committee and Global Games Brisbane 2019 (for athletes with intellectual disabilities).


Simon White, CEO

Simon White is an Australian business identity with a background in Law Enforcement, Debt Recovery and International Project Management. Simon currently consults to a number of key national and international organisations across a range of high level business engagement models. He is the CEO of the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce in Brisbane, where he works along side business and government to enhance trade relationships between these two countries. Within WhiteCorp International, Simon drives the success and profile of the organisation through deepening the wide range of worldwide networks and relationships that are the lifeblood of the company.
